Dear Rosie,

Yesterday your other front tooth popped through, making four upper teeth in about two weeks. You've been a semi-miserable little blonde lady, but when you're happy and you smile and I get to see all those teeth it just makes my heart sing.

Although you've been right on the brink since your first birthday, you finally took off walking on your own the first week of July, right in time for your uncle Kev to get home and our trip to California.  You toddle-sprint and take off after your big sisters, headed for some adventure in the backyard, thinking that you're Elena's age. Daddy added a slide to the play fort since you've been trying to jump off the top of the ladder and you'll go around and around climbing the stairs and sliding down the slide.  The look on your face is full double dimpled joy.

You've been quite the chatty woman as of late, babbling nearly non stop and believing we understand.  My favorite is when Elena plays "Let it Go" and you actually start singing.  I can't believe that school is starting for the other girls in a few weeks.  You and I will get four whole hours a week alone together.

Rosie girl, I love you so much!

Love,
Mom
